Dad started pickling asparagus spears in eastern Washington in the mid 1980’s strictly for family and friends. While I definitely enjoyed eating them immensely as a child, it wasn’t until many years later that I realized how amazing they truly are. After multiple deployments to Afghanistan, where my teammates were begging for more of dad’s pickled asparagus, we got the idea of sharing them with everyone.

So, following retirement from the Army after serving 25 years in Special Forces, we’re getting “CRAZY” with our pickled asparagus.
